Sam's cousin Luke and his parents (Tom & Alysha) visited us from Brooklyn for the day. It's always fun to have family around!

Random Samness
We thought these pictures were cool, so we decided to post them. Enjoy!

Sam snuggling on daddy, melts his heart!

After a long day of feeding and napping.

While cleaning out the basement we thought it would be fun for Sam to model a hat daddy bought in Vietnam.

Mom was keeping Sam busy while folding the laundry, but Sam had other ideas of how to use dad's socks.

Happy 4 Months Sam!
Sam celebrates Independence Day 2007
Sam experienced his first "fun" holiday on July 4th. He got all spiffied up in a patriotic outfit courtesy of his Great Aunt Kathy. We spent the evening with a slew of friends at a barbecue. Unfortunately, weather precluded us from staying outside too long, but we did get to eat some great hamburgers and watermelon.

Bedtime!
I wish I could sleep like this kid! Sam has continued to fall asleep just about anywhere. From the bouncer to the play mat to the boppy, if sleep calls he will listen.

Getting ready for bedtime, daddy has some fun with his pajamas.

Asleep on the Baby Einstein play mat. We thought it was so cute he still had the rings in his hand.

Asleep on mommy in the rocking chair. Mommy's Little Firecracker wasn't cracking too much then.

A momentous occasion in feats of sleep. It was our goal that before Sam turned four months he would sleep in his crib in his very own room. We wanted to put away the co-sleeper and the night light in the worst kind of way. July 1st was that day. Sam went down in his crib and slept soundly through the night. Of course mommy was up every half hour to check on him. The quality of sleep we got was much better without the dreaded night light, but the quantity was way down. Needless to say we all lived through it, and Sam is as happy as ever.

Sam 's first morning in the crib. Wide eyed and ready for a long day of feeding, napping, and playing.
